They understood my problem. Ordered the part. Then replaced the screen (screen went bad). It was all done within a couple of days. Replacing the screen took less than two hours. Was very pleased.

We were very happy with our experience at Joe V Clayton Chevrolet. The salesman was very helpful, he provided a great deal of information before we went to the dealership which made our decision much easier and faster. At the dealership he again was helpful in pointing out the features of our new vehicle. We felt the price was good and all items were clearly explained. Our appointment for an oil change was scheduled for 2 pm. I arrived at 10 min till 2. I waited for and hour and a half for the simple job of an oil change. Not to happy with that. That is why we traveled to my home town dealership to order our new truck.I knew we would be treated fairly Clayton Chevrolet.

Service was good and problem was solved. My issue was one that had not come up before so there was technical assistance provided from somewhere else and it did seem the communication with the other tech team needed to be a smoother process.

My experience was remarkable. Other dealers need to learn how to treat a buyer. I had spoke with 5 Chevrolet dealers in Tennessee and only one of those even acted like they were honest or cared. The moment I contacted Doig amaddox at Clayton he has been honest,knowledgeable,respectful and personable. Greatest buying experience we have ever had purchasing a vehicle. I was treated with the upmost courtesy. I have never been so satisfied with my purchase. I did not come into the dealership expecting to buy a Chevy. I’ve never owned one and it wasn’t what I had in mind when I started car looking. I got in the dealership and met Doug Maddux that listened to what I was looking for and walked me out to the vehicle I ended up purchasing. He was patient, taught me how to use the car before putting me behind the wheel which is very valuable. Then he let me drive it and answered all my questions. You do not find this in other dealerships. Before getting to Joe V Clayton I had been to 4 others. All of them I had been talked to like I didn’t matter and no one was willing to work with me. I never thought I would say this but Joe V Clayton has made me a customer and a repeat customer. I will be back. Called and made an appointment to get my car service on Dec 4, 2025. The guy named Jeremy came to the waiting area to show me the air filter what it looked like, I said put a new one it. He said they didn't have it in stock and had to order it. I told him to go ahead order it he said they did and part would be in on Dec 5, 2025 when they open. I called him today Dec 5. and he said it as in and I didn't need an appointment. I went there and wasn't there long when he said you can go. So it didn't take long to put the new air filter in my car. They are always nice there in the service dept. at Clayton Chevy dealership in Arab, Al

I have an issue with the onstar module. My battery completely ran down. My local dealership told me I would have to drop off my car and pick up sometime the next week for them to check the battery to see if it was bad. I called Joe V Clayton.... they told me I could come that day if I could get it started if not I could have it towed. They checked it out while I waited. It is over an hour away but I will drive it to get the great service!

We purchased a 2026 Equinox EV on Saturday. The folks at Joe V Clayton Chevrolet are just good down home folks and easy to work with. There were no gimmicks, bogus fees, or anything like that, just a good price on a nice vehicle and a straightfoward process.

I had to come back to have my onstar module put on. Everything went great. But 2 days after i awoke to find my car battery dead once again. This is so very frustrating and dissapointing. I have less than 15,000 thousand miles on my car and this is the 3 time I have had to take my car in for service. My husband had to take my car back to dealership ( which is an hour away). I was given a loaner car. The next morning when I got in the car to go to work it wreaked of cigarette odors. I am now wishing I had stuck with Toyota. In the 19 years I drove Toyotas I have never had any problems.

Doug is the best!

We had previously purchased an Equinox from Clayton, and actually had the same salesman, Doug. He answered all of our questions and demonstrated the new features of the car very well. He also was able to determine what discounts we qualified for which was very refreshing for a car salesman!

I called and talked to the guy Larry in service told him about my car. He said bring it here at (:30 am that same day I called. He gave an estimate on fixing it. We ok everything and dropped it off 30 minutes later. Price didn't change and he called on Friday March 6, 2026 saying it was done that was 2 days after I dropped it off.
